 Black Devil By KK Complete

This snippet appears to be taken from a compelling contemporary Urdu romantic or social novel that skillfully combines high-stakes emotional conflict, deception of social class, and the intense dynamics of elite relationships. The narrative unfolds across three distinct emotional movements: the façade, the brutal exposure, and the heartwarming resolution of a secondary plot.

I.  The Façade of Poverty and the Interrogation

The scene opens with a sharp dialogue between the two main characters, Miraaj Yousuf and Roshni.  Roshni attempts to maintain a meticulous act of humility, insisting that she is too poor to afford the expensive sales ("main itni mehengi, sales afford nahi kar sakti") and that she does not have "so much money" because she is not "rich like you," but rather belongs to the "poor common people" ("hum bechaaray ghareeb awaam mein hain").  This immediate focus on money and social status establishes the central tension.

Miraaj Yousuf’s reaction is one of calculated surprise and disbelief, observing her "cheekiness" (bohat dheet thi).  He challenges her with a raised eyebrow, asking why she is complaining, as no one is asking her for money.  His language hints at an underlying power game, suggesting he is testing her resolve or is already fully aware of her pretense.  The irony of a character clearly dressed and acting above the common class (if she's being engaged by a man like Miraaj) aggressively claiming poverty fuels the drama.  He ends the first section by berating her and her cousin for always complaining about poverty and urging them to be thankful to God, implying that they are significantly more fortunate than many others. II.  Changes in power and dramatic exposure In the second section, when Miraaj Yousuf decisively removes Roshni's elaborate disguise, the narrative reaches its apex. He silences her, forbidding her from reciting her "line of poverty" in front of him.  In a dramatic moment of disclosure, he reveals his intimate knowledge of their true financial status: "I know everything, how rich you people are..."

He then provides irrefutable evidence of their staggering wealth: they own multiple five-star hotels in Pakistan’s major metropolitan centers—two in Karachi, and one each in Lahore and Islamabad.  This revelation instantly transforms the character of Roshni from a sympathetic, struggling woman to a deceptive, privileged figure.

The sudden shift in perspective leaves Roshni staring at him with stunned, disbelieving eyes (hairan kun nazron se usay dekha), forced to acknowledge that he is "telling the truth."  The exposure leads to an immediate change in focus.  Miraaj, now in command, gives her a professional instruction: "get the sales up and prepare for the meeting," indicating the high-stakes corporate world they inhabit, with only 45 minutes remaining.

Roshni’s reaction is a potent mix of humiliation and fury.  She silently grabs her bag and leaves, her face clearly showing her immense anger towards Miraaj Yousuf, all while muttering under her breath.  Miraaj’s final, satisfied smile confirms his triumph in this round of their personal battle, suggesting that this exposure was a deliberate move to challenge her pride and put her in her place.

III.  The Happy Solution for Friendship and Siblings The third excerpt introduces a lighter, more affectionate subplot involving two secondary characters, Ali and Hasan.  Ali is seen smiling despite having been physically harmed by Miraaj Yousuf earlier ("maar khane ke baad"), indicating that his good mood is overwhelming his pain.  Hasan enters and delivers comic relief by teasing Ali about the beating, sarcastically suggesting he should call a doctor for his "brain."

This teasing is immediately followed by a powerful display of affection: Ali gets up, embraces Hasan, and hugs him tightly, an unexpected reaction that momentarily silences Hasan.  The affectionate gesture is so intense that Hasan jokes he might pass out.

The reason for Ali's overwhelming joy is revealed in the final, celebratory lines: Ali hits Hasan playfully on the shoulder and declares, "That scoundrel, my brother-in-law (saala) has agreed!  I am going tomorrow to take the marriage proposal."  This is the source of Ali’s buoyant mood—his love interest's family has consented to the match.  Hasan, equally thrilled, immediately embraces Ali again, offering congratulations.

In summary, the novel fragment masterfully blends corporate drama, romantic conflict driven by issues of class and authenticity, and the contrasting comfort of male friendship.  The central mystery of Roshni’s deliberate poverty pretense, now exposed by Miraaj, sets the stage for a narrative that will likely explore the complex reasons behind her deception and the consequences of Miraaj’s powerful dominance over her.

I can't afford such an expensive, expensive sale.

Miraj Yusuf looked at the boy in surprise.

Who was very bold.

"So Miss Roshni, who is asking you for money?" Miraj Yusuf raised an eyebrow and asked.

"I'm not even giving you that much money. I don't have that much money. I'm not rich like you.

We are poor, poor people."

Miraj Yusuf listened to her and placed both his hands on the table and moved forward a little.

Then he looked Roshni in the eyes and said.

"Tell me one thing..?

Why do you two cousins keep crying all the time?

Thank God Almighty. You people are better than many people."

And yes...

Don't explain your poverty line in front of me.

! I know how rich you people are.

You people have 2 five-star hotels in Karachi and one in Lahore and one in Islamabad.

You are so rich and yet you cry about poverty all the time.

Hearing what Miraj Yusuf said, Roshni looked at him with surprised eyes.

He was telling the truth.

And yes, pick up the sales and prepare for the meeting. - 45 minutes left

In the meeting...

Roshni silently picked up the bag and left. It was clear on her face that she was very angry with Miraj Yusuf. But then she mumbled something in her mouth and came out.

Miraj Yusuf's lips touched a smile.

Ali was sitting and smiling after being beaten by Miraj Yusuf. Meanwhile, Hassan entered by sobbing

.

It seems that the beating has affected your mind. I should call a doctor.

Ali got up from his seat after hearing Hassan's words and came and hugged Hassan.

He hugged Hassan tightly. I hugged him tightly.

Hassan remained silent. Hassan did not expect all this from Ali.

What happened to me, I will stop breathing. I am not a meme in my head. Hassan

I am.

Hearing Hassan's words, Ali separated Hassan from him.

He hit Hassan on the shoulder with a strong punch.

"The bastard has accepted my year. I am leaving tomorrow with a relationship.

Congratulations, sir..." Hassan said, hugging Ali.
